Interview Season Prep – Virtual vs In-Person Tips
With interview season approaching, wanted to share what worked for me last cycle:
🎥 Virtual Interviews:
– Test tech setup multiple times
– Have backup internet connection
– Professional lighting matters more than expensive camera
✈️ In-Person Interviews:
– Book flights early (especially for IMG visa holders)
– Stay near the hospital if possible
– Bring multiple copies of everything
Also – practice the “tell me about yourself” question until it’s natural. You got this!

Mount Sinai has an excellent USCE program! I did my rotation there last year. Dr. Martinez in cardiology is fantastic for LORs.
